The Interactive Advertising Bureau is reporting that digital ad revenue in the first quarter grew 15% to a record $8.4B, up from $7.3B in the first quarter of 2011. Full-year revenue for 2011 was $31.74B, up 21.9% from 2010.
By category, Retail advertising led online ad spending with 22%, followed by Telecom and Leisure Travel. See the full report here.
