You Should Be Downloading These Steve Jobs Interviews NOW

Thanks to All Things D we are blessed with six lengthy interviews from the late Steve Jobs in full video and audio format via iTunes. The All Things Digital conference was always a favorite platform for Mr. Jobs, and we are lucky to hear some of interviews.

According to iTunes:

There’s lots of video of the late Steve Jobs, primarily from his famous introductions of Apple products over the years, and his oft-quoted Stanford commencement address. But, by far, the largest trove of video of the legendary innovator candidly answering unrehearsed questions and explaining his views on technology and business comes from his six lengthy appearances at our D: All Things Digital Conference, from 2003 to 2010. As a memorial to a great man, and, in the spirit of sharing a priceless piece of history, we are making all six of these appearances available free, in high quality. We thank Apple for its cooperation in making these videos available for all. Photo credit: Asa Mathat

84-Year Old Billionaire Schools Drake on Twitter

One of my favorite things about some rappers these days are that they feel invincible and like they own the world.  Drake’s ego was recently brought back down to earth when the artist Tweeted out a nice humblebrag saying ‘The First million is the hardest.”  Enter the 84-year-old billionaire tycoon T. Boone Pickens, who is the chairman of BP Capital, and took this opportunity to let Drake know that he is a very small fish in a very big pond.  See below for Boone’s incredible response to Drake.

Drake understood the motto: “Game recognize game,” and replied as he should have:

Quiet, Mary is Talking

When Mary Meeker talks, you should stop what you’re doing and listen…

Meeker, a former financial analyst and current partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, presented her 2012 Internet Trends report today at the All Things Digital D10 conference.

Discussing everything from the global economy, to social and mobile, it would disrespectful to try and summarize in a few bullets. Just consider it required reading.

Lesson For Kids: If You’re Worth $20 Billion, Tip Your Waiter

As we all know by now, Zuck tied the knot with this long term girlfriend Prisilla Chen the day after Facebook IPO’ed. Silicon Valley power couple.

The two have been honeymooning and a restaurant owner in Rome blew the whistle on Zuck for getting his George Costanza on and not tipping the waitstaff.

From the Telegraph:

Waiters at Nonna Betta, which specialises in Roman Jewish cuisine, were amazed by Mr Zuckerberg’s parsimony, not just because of his huge wealth but because of Americans’ reputation for tipping generously, as is expected of them at home.

It was not a case of not enjoying the meal, said the owner of the restaurant.

“I asked him ‘how was it?’ and he said ‘very good’”, the owner, identified only as Umberto, told Corriere della Sera newspaper. “I had gone up to him and said ‘Are you …?’ and he said ‘Yes’.”

It was not the first time that the multi-billionaire chose not to tip – he reportedly did the same thing the night before at Pierluigi, a historic trattoria near Campo de’ Fiori, a piazza in the heart of Rome.

Mitt Romney Releases Official iPhone App. Spells America Wrong. Goes Viral

On Tuesday evening the Romney campaign launched their official iPhone app. The app is called “With Mitt” and it helps you customize photos with Romney Inspired frames. The only issue is that on one of the frames they spelled “America” wrong…which is an issue for anything having to do with a…. presidential candidate. Any hoot, spelling mistakes aside, here’s what the app is supposed to do:

How it Works
• Take a new photo.
• Choose a sleek, stylized overlay message and artwork that tells the world, “I’m with Mitt!”
• Share it with friends and family by posting your personalized photo to Facebook or Twitter, or send it via email.

Screenshots of the app with no spelling errors:
